Testing is part of production

Our quality control laboratories sit inside the works, not beside them. They are the reason a technical answer from us carries a figure that came from our own testing of your lot rather than from a general product description.

The laboratories

Three things our quality control laboratories exist to do, stated as a buyer would use them.

Hold the specification while the line runs

Samples are drawn during production, not only from the finished pallet. A parameter that starts to drift is a production event that can still be corrected, instead of a rejection discovered by your goods-in department.

Put a figure on your consignment

The results that describe your lot are the results that go into your file. An analysis issued with the goods is what turns an agreed specification into something your own quality department can verify on arrival.

Answer a technical question in writing

Because the testing is ours, a question from your technical department is answered by the people who ran it — in writing, with the basis of the measurement stated rather than implied.

What is checked, and where in the line

Quality control is placed at the points where something about your goods is actually decided.

Control points across the four production stages
What is checked Stage Why it is checked there
Incoming material intake So that a lot carries an identity from the moment it enters the works
Process condition processing Because a deviation caught while material is moving can still be corrected
Form and appearance forming The form is set here; after this point it can only be sorted, not fixed
Moisture after drying drying It governs how the product survives the route to your warehouse
Pack integrity and marking packing The pack is part of the specification, and the marking is part of your file
Lot identity against the documents loading So the analysis in your file describes the goods in the container

The measured values for each parameter are reported on the analysis issued for your consignment; the specification table on every product page shows the unit and the basis on which each one is stated.

Working to international standards

Conformity with international standards is one of the three things this company sells. Here is what that commitment means operationally.

The standard is agreed before production

The requirement your market imposes is settled in the order, not discovered at the port. If your buyer's own customers work to a particular requirement, bring it into the inquiry and it becomes part of what the line is held to.

Conformity is demonstrated, not asserted

We hold national and international certificates in the company's own name, and the certificate file is sent on request so that your compliance officer reads the documents themselves rather than our description of them.

The analysis travels with the goods

Testing that stays inside the factory is of no use to a buyer. The result for your lot is issued with the consignment, in the same reference as the order, so the file and the container agree with one another.

A deviation is reported, not absorbed

If something in a lot does not meet what was agreed, you hear it from us with the measurement attached. A supplier who only reports good results is a supplier whose reports are worth nothing.

Request an analysis with your quotation

Ask for the analysis at the same time as the price. Reading them together is the fastest way to know whether we are the right works for your product.
