Legal notice

Who publishes this site, who owns what is on it, and what happens to the information you send us through it.

This website is published by Eqlid Sugar, the company that produces and exports the sugar described on it. It is not operated by an agent, a trading intermediary or a marketing company on the producer's behalf: the works, the quality control laboratories and the export desk that answers your inquiry belong to the same company, and that company is responsible for what is written here.

The company's registered particulars — its full legal name, its registration and the address of the works — are stated on the contract and on the commercial documents that accompany a consignment, which is where a counterparty needs them in a form it can act on. Ask the export desk and they are given to you in writing before any commitment is made.

Everything else on this site is written to be checked. Where a statement can be verified against a production line, a laboratory result or a certificate, the page says so and points at the document. Where a figure has not been issued by the works, no figure is printed.

Content, drawings and trade marks

The text, the structure of the pages, the specification tables and the drawings on this site belong to Eqlid Sugar. They may be read, printed and forwarded to a colleague for the purpose of evaluating us as a supplier — that is what they are for. They may not be republished, resold or presented as another company's material.

Every illustration on this site is a line drawing made for this company. There are no photographs and no stock images anywhere on these pages, because a photograph of somebody else's factory is a claim we are not entitled to make. The cube that recurs in the drawings — the crystal, the palletised stack and the shipping container at three scales — is part of the company's visual identity.

The name Eqlid Sugar and the company's mark identify this producer. Where the site refers to national and international certificates, those certificates are held in the company's own name and are issued by their respective bodies, which remain their owners.

Inquiry data

The forms on this site ask for what is needed to answer you and for nothing else: the company, a contact name, an email address, the market you import into and the product and volume you are asking about. A request for a certificate file or a specification sheet asks the same, plus the requirement you need us to answer against.

What you send is used to answer your inquiry and to carry on the correspondence that follows from it. It is treated as business correspondence inside the company: it is not sold, not exchanged with third parties for their own use, and not added to a marketing list because you once asked us a technical question.

The article list is separate and voluntary. An address given there is used to send the notes published on the Insight pages, and a request to be taken off the list is acted on when it is received. If you would like your inquiry correspondence removed from our records, write to the export desk and say so.

Design credit

This website was designed by NEXPORT.AGENCY, which is also named in the footer of every page. The work covers the brand message for international markets, the information architecture, the page designs for desktop and mobile, and the English and Persian text on these pages, written from the documentation supplied by the factory.

The typefaces are Zilla Slab for headings and IBM Plex Sans and IBM Plex Mono for text and for data, all of them open-licensed families chosen because they carry technical documentation well. The Persian edition of the site is set in Noto Naskh Arabic and Vazirmatn, chosen on the same grounds. Every drawing is vector artwork produced for this project.
